Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025: The Maharashtra School Education and Sport Department is releasing on its official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in, the Merit List of students who have registered for Class 11 or FYJC admission for the year 2025-26.
The FYJC General Merit List released on the website will be provisional and should contain all the necessary details of the students who have registered.
In case, the students find any error or need any correction in their details, they will need to contact the department. The changes will be incorporated in the Final Merit List.
The Maharashtra Education Department had started online registration of students from May 26, 2025. The last date of application was fixed as June 03, 2025, as per the Revised Schedule of Maharashtra Class 11 admission 2025. The department had, however, extended the last date of application till 02:00 PM June 05, 2025.
As per the revised schedule, the department will release today i.e Friday June 06, 2025 the Provisional General Merit List of First Year Junior College Admission 2025.
“The Provisional General Merit List will be released on June 06, 2025 at 01:00 PM”, the Maharashtra Education Department said.
The department confirmed the date and time to publish the Class 11 merit list after the deadline of application ended at 02:00 PM Thursday.
Students can follow the steps given below to download merit list in PDF.
If a student finds any error in any of her/his details, she/he should contact the department for the necessary correction.
The date and time to submit grievances is from June 06 to 07, 2025, as per the Maharashtra FYJC Admission Revised Schedule 2025.
Students will be required to fill the form given on the website if they want to submit the grievances.
After incorporating the changes and addressing the grievances, the department will publish on June 08, 2025 the FYJC Final Merit List 2025.
Students should note that all further admission process, including the allotment and confirmation of admission, will be done based on the final merit list.
The department also said the students who have registered online for the said admission process and have locked Part 1 of the admission application but Part 2 is yet to be filled or locked, such students will be provided with the facility to fill Part 2 of their application from 12:15 PM on June 6, 2025 to 12:30 PM on June 7, 2025.
"However, the concerned students should lock their preference order in Part 2 of the application within the given time. Students who have locked Part 2 earlier will not get the facility to change their preference order during this period", it said.
The department further said that students who have not registered for online admission by 05th June 2025 or have not filled their admission form Part 1 or have filled the admission form partially and could not complete their application Part 1 within the prescribed time limit, the facility to fill Part 1 and Part 2 of the admission form afresh will be available at the beginning of each round for all such students.
"Therefore, such students need not worry. They should fill and lock their applications in time for the next round. New students will also get the facility to fill their applications before each round. For this, care should be taken to strictly follow the schedule of the admission round", it said.
The FYJC 2025 CAP Round 1 will start on June 9 with Zero Round and the department will publish on June 10, 2025 the Round 1 Allotment List.
The FYJC Round 1 Allotment List will contain the details of colleges allotted to students based on the options and preferences submitted by them.
Students should note that they will be required to confirm their admission from June 11 to 18, 2025 if they are satisfied with the college allotted to them. If they are not satisfied with the allotted college, they can proceed to round 2 and consequent rounds.
The Maharashtra Education Department has been conducting online admission process for FYJC and Class 11th in Mumbai MMR since 2009-10, that was later extended to Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad (discontinued in 2022) and Amravati in 2013-14.
The department, however, has decided to conduct admission for Class 11 or Junior Colleges across Maharashtra in online mode via a centralized CAP Round Process from the academic year 2025-26, as per a government notification.
