Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025: The Maharashtra School Education and Sport Department has released the revised schedule of admission in First Year Junior College (FYJC) or Class 11 simultaneously starting online registration of students from Monday May 26, 2025.
The School Education and Sport Department in Maharashtra was supposed to start the students’ registration from May 19. The department however conducted mock registration from May 19 to 20, and announced to start the actual registration from May 21, 2025.
The actual students’ registration that started on May 21, 2025 was suspended after technical glitches and server down error.
After resolving the technical glitches, the School Education and Sport Department started from today i.e. Monday May 26, 2025 the registration of students seeking admission in Class 11 for the academic year 2025-26.
As per the latest FYJC Admission 2025 Schedule, the last date of application is June 03, 2025 till 06:00 PM.

According to the FYJC Revised Admission Schedule, the education department will publish on June 05, 2025 Provisional General Merit List.
The Merit List will contain the name and details of all students who have successfully registered on the FYJC admission portal. Students can submit grievances from June 6 to 7 if they find any error or missing information in their details as shown in the general merit list.
The department will publish the Final Merit List on June 8, 2025. The FYJC 2025 Final Merit List will have details compiled after all errors are resolved.
The FYJC 2025 CAP Round 1 will start on June 9 and the department will publish on June 9, 2025 the Round 1 Allotment List.
The FYJC Round 1 Allotment List will contain the details of colleges allotted to students based on the options and preferences submitted by them.
Students should note that they will be required to confirm their admission from June 11 to 18, 2025 if they are satisfied with the college allotted to them. If they are not satisfied with the allotted college, they can proceed to round 2 and consequent rounds.
The Maharashtra Education Department has been conducting online admission process for FYJC and Class 11th in Mumbai MMR since 2009-10, that was later extended to Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad (discontinued in 2022) and Amravati in 2013-14.
The department, however, has decided to conduct admission for Class 11 or Junior Colleges across Maharashtra in online mode via a centralized CAP Round Process from the academic year 2025-26, as per a government notification.
There are demands from various circles to revert back to offline mode. The government however has been consistent with its decision to make FYJC or Class 11th admission in Maharashtra in online mode.
The CAP Round based centralised process is intended to be held for admission in 9,281 Junior Colleges of Maharashtra having over 20 lakh seats in Science, Arts and Commerce streams.
