Dharamshala: The Himachal Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) Dharamshala has declared online the results of Class 12 (Class XII or Plus Two) 2017 Examinations today on Tuesday April 25. The HP board Class XII or Plus Two results are now live on board's official and associate websites.
HPBOSE is the first board to declare Class 12 exam result every year.
The Himcahal Pradesh board registered a pass percentage of 72.89% in 2017 Class XII examinations.
Ritik Kandoria from Rehan CRC Government Senior Secondary School – Kangra scored 492 marks out of the total 500 marks and topped the state and Science stream.
Neha Hem Prabh scored 476 marks and topped the Art stream whereas Falguni Aggarwal is the topper from Commerce stream.
Students who had appeared for the HPBOSE Class 12th exam held from March 3 to March 28, 2017 can follow the steps given as under to check their results and scorecard.
- Go to HP board official website hpbose.org or IndiaResults.com
- Search for the Result tab in Notification section
- Enter your Exam seat no. date of birth and other details if asked
- Click on Submit button
- Results should appear on your screen
- Take a printout
The HP board Class 12 (Class XII or Plus Two) 2017 results are also available via SMS. To get your results on SMS type HP12 <Roll No> and send to 5676750

According to the quick analysis of declared results, girl students outshined boys in Arts and Coomerce streams whereas boys outperformed the girls in Science stream.
"A total of 1,02,075 students appeared in the examinations of which 73,948 passed, while 15,886 candidates got a compartment", HPBOSE secretary Vishal Sharma said.
Students who want to apply for re-evaluation or re-checking of their answer sheets can apply by depositing a fee of Rs 400 and Rs 300 respectively till May 9.
Earlier there were wild speculations about the Himachal Pradesh Board Class XII result 2017 declaration based on the past record. The HP board had in 2016 declared the Class 12 exam results on April 25. It is becuase of this most of the media reports are claiming that the Class 12 results could be declared on Tuesday April 25.
The HP board had surprised the students in 2016 by declaring the HPBOSE Class 12 results in just 25 days from the conclusion of examinations.
A total of 1,01,104 students had appeared in the HP Board 12th 2016 examinations. The overall pass percentage stood at 78.93%.
Suvrat Sharma of Hamirpur had secured 492 marks to top Science stream in 2016. In Arts section Rahul Sharma of Dharrubal, Mandi and Roshan Lal of Arki bagged 471 out of 500 marks. Tammanna Koushal of Dharamshala top scored in Commerce with a total of 482 marks.
