West Bengal recorded an overall pass percentage of 86.34% in 2020 WB Madhyamik Class 10 exam

West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2020: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has declared on its official websites wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.org Madhyamik Pariksha Class 10 or West Bengal board SE result 2020 today i.e. Wednesday July 15, 2020.

West Bengal recorded an overall pass percentage of 86.34% in 2020 WB Madhyamik Class 10 exam. Along with the WBBSE 10th Result 2020, the board has also relesed the list of Top Ten students and Merit List.

Aritra Pal stood first in West Bengal Madhyamik Exam 2020. Pal scored 694 out of the total 700 marks i.e 99.14%.

Sayantan Garai 693 and Avik Das scored 693 out of 700 to bag the 2nd position while Soumya Pathak, Debosmita Mahapatra and Aritra Maity scored 690/700 to bag the 3rd rank.

The boys have outprerformed girls with 89.87 per cent. Pass percentage of girl students is 83.48. Last year their pass percentage was 86.07%.

Among districts, East Midnapore again is the topper with a pass percentage of 96.59 followed by West Midnapore and Kolkata.

West Midnapore recorded a pass percent of 92.16 to emerge as second best performing district after East Midnapore. Kolkata registered the pass percentage of 91.07 and came 3rd among the districts.

East Midnapore had regsitered highest Pass Percentage followed by Kolkata and West Midnapore in 2019 as well.

Around 10.15 lakh students appeared in the Madhyamik exam 2020 that was concluded on February 27.

WB Madhyamik Pass Percentage 2019

West Bengal Madhyamik Pariksha (Class 10th) result in 2019 was declared on May 21. West Bengal had recorded an overall pass percentage of 86.07% in 2019 WB Madhyamik Class 10 exam.

Saugata Das from Mahammedpur Deshpran Vidyapith School in East Midnapore district of West Bengal ranked first in 2019. She had scored 694 (99.14%) of the total 700 marks.

Shreyashi Paul and Debasmitha Saha came 2nd with 98.71% i.e. 691 marks. Camelia Roy and Bratin Mondal had scored 98.43% i.e. 689 marks and came 3rd.
